AZ Fintech Council
CCG Catalyst Consulting and the Arizona Bankers Association (AzBA) have partnered to create the Arizona Fintech Council (AZFC) to spur economic growth in the state and bring viable and promising fintech companies to Arizona’s Fintech Sandbox. Our partners are Leading Arizona organizations including Arizona State University (ASU), Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), Arizona Technology Council (AZTC), Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) and Sun Corridor, Inc. (SCI). We have over 20 banks ranging from community to money center (banks over $1 trillion in assets) as Fintech Council members. The banking regulators OCC, FDIC, FRB and the State of Arizona are non-voting participants.
The AZ “fintech sandbox” is a temporary regulatory safe harbor for the companies seeking to bring new fintech products and services to market.
The council was spurred when Arizona became the first U.S. state to officially launch a regulatory sandbox for Fintech. Arizona Attorney General provides oversight of the sandbox.
Our program does not restrict participation to Arizona businesses. The Arizona Fintech Council hosts various meetings throughout the year where each fintech company will have 60 minutes to showcase and Q & A their concept, solution and/or services to a group of approximately 30 banks or credit unions and make their case for a POC partnership with one or more financial institutions participating in the Council.
Thank you for your interest in presenting to the Arizona Fintech Council. Once you submit a completed application we will review it and get back to you in a timely manner. If you have any questions you can reach us at +1-480-744-2240.
